This was one of earliest beats that I made in my post-college era. A dusty, forgotten composition. I found it recently on an old cassette tape, the only version of the song that existed, and I digitized it.
I made it when I was borrowing my first analog synth from a friend. I don’t remember which synth it was. I had no idea how to use it or what I was doing, just messing around on it. Then my friend took it back and sold it.
This song is like walking around in a cloud of smoke. It’s like sitting on the wings of a dragon as it soars over a city that is burning to pieces. Like falling down a bottomless pit in slow motion.
