This is another one of my forgotten songs that I found on some old beat-up cassette tape recently. Not sure when or where I made this one. Another lonely instrumental… another song that I like to consider more of a painting than a song.
If someone is laughing or smiling, play this song, and the mood will suddenly become sober and serious. It’s un-avoidable.
It’s that feeling of tension, emotional tension.
I started making a weird, creepy, abstract video for this song a few months ago, but I never completed it. Maybe I need to finish it today! I have a long history of starting various art projects and never finishing them… I guess most people suffer from can relate to that in one way or another. As long as you are finishing SOME things SOMETIMES.
And maybe I am selling myself short… I have (hopefully) many healthy years ahead of me… maybe all those short stories I started writing in my 20s, I will finally finish in my 30s… or maybe even in my 40s or 50s… I don’t know what the future holds…
