(the above pic is not a picture of chloe, she was much cuter than this… not to say that this baby isn’t cute… just chloe was definitely like a hundred times cuter..)
Anyway, here is the dope new track “Chloe Baby Sings, Part Two”. Another medley of children’s tunes. The original post with Part One and an explanation of these recordings, is available HERE.
I am sorry, but this is some adorable-ass shit! Is it just me? I mean, here’s the question - must there be an emotional connection to the little girl singing in this recording in order to appreciate it? I don’t know?!?!?!?!?!?!!!
She starts off with “It’s A Small World”, and her childish pronunciation of the word “world” (the inability to say the “R” sound) it is truly priceless! Don’t put a price tag on it!
Speaking of “It’s A Small World”, I am really interested in seeing this new documentary called “The Boys: The Sherman Brothers’ Story”… it is about the songwriting team who wrote almost all those early, famous Disney songs that everyone knows (including of course “Small World”). They were brothers, but they were strangers to each other. They were a creative force, but didn’t speak outside of work. Very interesting stuff…
Next, Chloe goes into that song about monkeys jumping on a bed and one falls off and hits his head. So the monkeys go to the doctor and the doctor says “no more monkeys jumping in the bed”. Her pronunciation of “doctor”, is again, PRICELESS ENTERTAINMENT!!!
We get a little bit of “Bah Bah Black Sheep”, but it gets all warbly. I like after it though, when she says “sing a song for daddy-guy”. I like the idea of a cute little girl calling her father daddy-guy.
She starts doing “Rock-a-bye Baby, in the tree top”, but then very quickly and abruptly ends it with a “dummah dum dum”. Then she says a bunch of incoherent stuff to her daddy-guy.
“Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” gets pretty cute, but she is very distracted throughout the song, and can’t go more than 3 words without pausing.
Next up is a nice and complete version of “Ring Around The Rosy”.
Then, Chloe begins to get into her “push this button” nonsense, which is the center of attention in the original Part One Post. But we do get a nice version of “London Bridge”, ending with the great pronunciation of “lock her up”. It’s almost like you can picture the little baby face, struggling to say these new sounds.
The funniest part is that today, Chloe still sounds exactly the same. That’s why I love her ;-)
Oh yeah, and if you want to download this track and BLAST IT at your next summer bar-b-que, then you can download it HERE.
