This is the acoustic version that we did with Michelle singing. The “chorus” part of this track is pretty weak, but all the other parts are pretty good… haunting… romantic… sad. The duel and triple vocal stuff is cool.
The original version of this song that we did (without Michelle) is overly-produced and tricked out with weird drum samples and stuff. So it’s nice to hear this very simple version.
I remember writing this song drunk one night at like 3 in the morning. Usually things that happen at that hour, in that state of mind, are worthless. Other times, you might strike upon some uninhibited truth and genius and vulnerability.
