“WORLD IN MY PALM (demo)” by Nasty Millionaire
This is a new collaboration with LOWD, who I’ve done a couple tracks with previously. But we gotta re-record this song and “do it up” a little differently, do it up PROPER.
I ran my vocals through an overdrive pedal and turned it up loud, so I could rap/sing at a low volume. After trying many different vocal styles and ideas and techniques, I think this overdrive pedal set-up works best for me. It’s like bringing it back to the days of the original 4-track stuff.
Again, this is a DEMO track. But that is the point of my website, to release a lot of music, but not “official” stuff.
Hopefully me and Lowd will get around eventually to doing a bunch more tracks. Who knows… ?
The lyrics for this song - I originally wrote them to a different beat, but then tried them on this beat and it worked well.
