Ah, yes, let’s un-dust the vaults and bring out another classic track from my high school ska-rap group, The Lightweights. Man, life was easy back then.
This song, titled “The Bigger The Pants (The Bigger The Loser)” was named after this death metal kid named Dan was overheard saying that comment (“The Bigger The Pants (The Bigger The Loser)”) about me and my friends.
This was back when Jnco jeans were popular, and in retrospect, Dan was right, our over-sized pants were stupid. But at the time, fashionable.
Dan hated me, for what I could tell, was no good reason, other than that him and me were basically polar opposites. So he tries to be tough and make fun of us, and we turn his words into a hit song. Genius!
But in the end, he was right - the bigger the pants, the bigger the loser.
