I titled this song “Don’t Give Up!!!!!!!!!!” because that is what it sounds like to me - an anthem towards charging ahead confidently, even in the face of doom. I even included multiple exclamation points at the end of the song title, in order to emphasize my thought.
This is an instrumental track, something that I imagine would be like the opening track for an album. Imagine finding a record with no label on it, and you bring it home and put it on, and this is the first track you hear.
I made it on my beloved Tascam 388 (««——- click on that for a link to a youtube video that shows the beautiful machine).
This is mostly samples with a little bit of the Prophet 600 (««—- a nine minute youtube video showcasing the beast of a machine).
At the beginning of this track, you can hear me messing with my sampler, reminding myself the correct buttons to push. And then SLAM BOOM, the song kicks into gear.
You should listen to this song before you head out on a first date. This song should inspire confidence.
In these tough economic times, a little confidence can make all the difference.
