This is an interesting track - a moody instrumental piece that I finished the other day, more of a b-side than anything else. I found a very old 4-track cassette tape that contained the main guitar loop heard in this song. So I sampled my old self and I looped it and added a record sound effect, which gives it some scratchy raw-ness, like it sounds old and dirty and genuine. I like producing new works from old materials.
Anyone making a short film or anything, here is some great music you can use. It would be for a scene when the main character is feeling really weird and nervous and scared and bad yet also introspective.
This song makes me feel a little nervous. Like when you love someone so much that you have to kill them. I mean, that would be for the character in the movie.
I titled it “Friday Afternoon Home Alone” because when I digitized it, it was on a Friday afternoon, and I was home alone. Simple.
This song has a sadness to it. I would like someone to write a short story with this song as the soundtrack. It’s about someone having to make a tough decision.
