Another song that is leaning in the new direction I am heading, the final of the “test trax” series from the ol’ tascam, that I will be posting. I know the machine now and can no longer call future tracks “test trax”.
I would like to re-record this song with an entirely different arrangement, a more stripped down and haunting version. Soon it will be born from me.
This song is about the first time you saw her take her clothes off and get fully nude in front of you.
Or maybe it is about loving your pet a little bit too much. Or treating your lover like a pet. Or maybe it is about being sad and lonely and finding an obsession to fill your time so you don’t kill yourself. Or maybe it is about simply BEING IN LOVE and everything that comes along with that.
Sometimes this song makes me think about the standard hotel in downtown LA.
