Ah, cattlebeast… those hot summers… recording in Dave’s Room (aka - the information center) on Cahuenga Blvd. in North Hollywood. All done in MOTU Digital Performer.
I remember during the mixing session of this album (“Hello, Good Morning, Good Night”), taking our bed and blankets and standing them up against the walls as sound cushions, in order to give the room more of a studio sound.
This was a good nice sweet simple song.
“if time were a movie screen, then I bet, it’d be full of holes”
The lyric “hold your head up, you’re a king” was inspired by the Nas song “I Know I Can”.
